A Morning Start in Boulder City
Your overnight Grand Canyon journey begins bright and early as we head out from Las Vegas and make our way through the charming Boulder City. Nestled just outside of Vegas, Boulder City is not just a gateway to the Hoover Dam but also home to the cozy Coffee Cup Café. You’ll kick off your day here with a delicious breakfast—famous for its hearty plates and a bit of small-town charm.
Cruising Through Historic Route 66
From there, you journey onward to Seligman, Arizona, right along the legendary Route 66. Here, you’ll take a midday pause at Westside Lilo’s Café for lunch. This nostalgic stop offers a taste of classic Americana and a perfect chance to soak in some old-school roadside atmosphere.
Exploring the Grand Canyon: From Desert View to Bright Angel
Once you arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park, your first major viewpoint is Desert View. Take in the panoramic vistas from the watchtower and snap some incredible photos. After that, we make our way to the historic Bright Angel Lodge area. Here, you’ll have the flexibility to explore on your own using the park’s shuttle buses, or if you prefer, we’ll continue guiding you to some of the canyon’s hidden gems and overlooks.
Overnight Stay and a Scenic Train Ride
As the sun sets, we’ll head back for a comfortable overnight stay at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. This hotel offers a touch of rustic elegance and a good night’s rest before the next day’s adventure. In the morning, you’ll get the unique experience of riding the historic Grand Canyon Railway train, which will bring you right back to where we’ll pick you up at the station.

The overnight stay at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and the Railway Train. If you go ahead and book the tour with Show Mee The Canyon and then find that you can’t secure hotel accommodations for that date, no worries at all. We’ll happily refund your tour payment. We want to make sure everything lines up smoothly for you, so you can book with confidence!
